Don't throw your books away.
We'll come and take them.
Free, anywhere in the UAE. The book you can't bring yourself to bin is exactly the book someone else is looking for right now.
📦 We come to you. You don't carry anything. It costs nothing.
Sound familiar?
Almost every home in the UAE has a pile like this somewhere. And almost nobody knows what to do with it.
You're moving out
Shipping books abroad costs more than the books. Leaving them behind feels wrong. The bin feels worse.
The kids grew up
Two shelves of children's books nobody opens anymore — and somewhere in this city a family can't afford them.
There's simply no room
You've read them. You won't read them again. But throwing out a book still feels like throwing out a person's work.
A book thrown away is a story that ends. A book passed on is a story that starts again.
We're not a charity with an office and paperwork. It's a simple, human thing: you have books you don't need, someone out there needs exactly those books. We just drive between the two.
Three steps. Ten minutes of your time.
Message us on WhatsApp
Tell us roughly how many books and which area you're in. A photo of the pile is enough — no forms, no registration.
We agree on a time
Evenings and weekends included. We come when it suits you, not when it suits us.
We collect them ourselves
We carry the boxes down, load them and leave. You don't lift anything and you don't pay anything.

Where your books end up
Nothing goes to a landfill and nothing disappears. Every book gets a next reader.
Given to people who need them
Families, workers, students — anyone for whom a 60 AED book is a real expense.
Free shelves and community spaces
Take-one-leave-one shelves in cafés, gyms and residential buildings around the city.
You can ask where yours went
Write to us any time and we'll tell you what happened to your books. That's the whole point.
Where we collect
Dubai is our home base — we usually come the same day or the next. Other emirates take a little longer, but we do come.
Questions people ask
Is it really free? What's the catch?
Really free. We don't charge for pickup and we don't ask for donations. We just don't want good books going into a skip.
Do you resell the books?
No. The books are given away. If we ever sell anything to cover fuel, we'll say so openly here first.
I only have five books. Is that too few?
Five books is five readers. Write to us — we'll work out a convenient time and route.
Do I need to pack them?
No. Bags, boxes or a loose pile on the floor — we'll sort it out and take it away ourselves.
Can you come in the evening or at the weekend?
Yes, that's when most pickups happen. Just say what time suits you.
I'm not in Dubai. Will you still come?
Yes, we cover the whole UAE. Outside Dubai it may take a few days to line up a trip.
Where can I donate books in Dubai?
Some libraries, community centres and charity shops accept them, but you have to get the books there yourself. BookShelter is the other option: message us on WhatsApp and we collect them from your home for free, anywhere in the UAE — no drop-off, no queue, no fee.
What do I do with books when I move out of the UAE?
Shipping books abroad almost always costs more than the books are worth, so most people leave them behind or bin them. There is a third option: give them away. Message us before you fly and we'll pick them up from your flat, free of charge.
Don't bin them. Just write.
One WhatsApp message and the books are off your hands — and into someone else's. It takes you thirty seconds.
